Ok, it was a lot
of work, the graphic designers from X-Image did a great job
and everyone is happy. We decided on a young approach, so
the catalog is colorfuland what we call a looker!
We hope you also enjoy the stories to each bike. We took a
lot of care with them. So read about the baywatch gigolos,
italien sports cars and frankenstein's factory!

ScooterBike
wins another award!
And the prizes just keep on coming !
Now ScooterBike is one of the prize winners of the famous iF
design award.
This years winners include Sony, Coca Cola, Maybach, IBM and
.......ScooterBike.
The laudatio will be held on the 12th of March 2003 at the opening
of the CeBit in Hannover.

Test
rides
Taking an example from the automobile industry, we are offering
test rides at your favorite local bike dealer.
You tell us when, where and which bike you want to try and we
organize the ride.
This option is only available in Germany at present, but we
hope to extend it to other European countries soon. !

Trade
shows
Ok here's the plan
for 2005. USED will showing the ScooterBike
at the following shows:
The Fahrrad.Markt.Zukunft. in Bremen and this year for the first time also in Karlsruhe. They are the first big shows of the
year in Germany and it will be interesting to see how dealers
and customers will take to the ScooterBike.
This will be the fourth trade show
appearence for the ScooterBike
after the Eurobike, IFMA in Germany and the Interbike show in
Las Vegas.
ScooterBike was
shown at the Eurobike on the Ortlieb booth, and of course on
the USED booth.
The ScooterBikes
were also the hit of the IFMA in Cologne. This bike has a big
future or as Giant puts it - "this is the next dynamic
trend in cycling"! |

ScooterBike at the IFMA and Eurobike
We had a great time at the IFMA and the
Eurobike and thank to everyone who helped make it good: Jan
Rickmar Ludwig, Klaus Schröder, Ortwin Kürten, Jürgen
Schäfer, Pfautech and friends, development enginering,
etc.
For anyone who may think this was just one big party, take
a close look at the photo's here, we are taking bribes to
remove some of the photos!!!
Thanks once again to the Eurobike and
the IFMA for being so flexible and letting us take part at
very short notice.

Artland
Dragons - in the Bundesliga!
The professional Basketball team the Artland Dragons, are our
local matadors. The team has just won promotion to the National
German first division. The team was unbeaten for 30 games an
won the second division by a mile!
Coach Chris Fleming is a big bike fan and we're trying to get
him on a ScooterBike soon. You'll see it here first.
And it's not a joke or a printing error - the Artland Dragons
point-guard is Michael Jordan !
No, not "his Airness" but a great ex-college player
that scores a lot of hoops.
One ex-player Demekssa Duresso has also
been helping us do this web-site as part of his practical training
and since then his 3-point shooting has got better and better......
He's gone back to Hamburg now and we're missing him a lot !
